There is the soft sound of wheels whirring forward as Harrison Wells comes
into view. He'd been in his secret room puzzling over the fact that despite
all of Barry's meddling, time had not yet shattered. "Caitlin," he says
warmly, "you look troubled? Did something happen at Jitters?"
"Barry... lost her," She said softly, turning. "I guess I'm just having a difficult time coming to terms with all of this. How much does he have to lose, before it's enough?"
Harrison considers the question carefully because it was one he was
grappling with himself. In his mind he was Eobard Thawne, the Reverse
Flash, the fastest man alive and yet his outward appearance was that of
Harrison Wells, the genius beloved of the future whose scientific
advancements changed the world. How does one deal with that sort of change
or loss. "He may one day get her back," he says finally, "loss is only loss
if there is no hope of changing your situation."
He gives her a long searching look as if he's trying to see something in
her he's been missing. "Does that make sense Caitlin?"
